Mexico City Vibes - Everything you need to know about the Distrito Federal

I first came to Mexico City when I was 12 years old and it left a lasting impression. So much so that now I'm back!

I have created this website to share my experiences and create a comprehensive guide to this vibrant city that is not just a directory list of things to do. Here you can find in-depth, first hand experiences which should make your visit a more worthwhile and captivating experience.

Included in this site is everything from food (delicious tacos to excellent cuts of beef), attractions (buzzing night spots to Mayan Artefacts) to the unique culture of Mexican people that makes this city a must on your places to at least visit.

I take a look at all the possibilities for accommodation. I have a least of great Hotels, which bit by bit I review, and I also share with you my experiences of trying to find flatmates in the very trendy Colonia Condesa.

Travel possibilities from the city is also covered, so whether you want to check out the nearby colonial Cuernavaca and its perfect climate or take a beach trip to Acapulco, you can find your travel options here. If renting a car is you thing, I also have a guide of what to expect on Mexican roads and generally keeping safe.

Articles are added to this site on a daily basis. I am currently living in Mexico City and let me tell you, the place is enormous. Every day there is something new to discover and it can be quite overwhelming. But I am here to keep you updated on all my findings so be sure to add this site to your favourites and check to see what’s new. I am also keeping a blog, which is shows a more of a personal and intimate reflection of my experiences.

The ultimate aim of this site is to bombard you with enough vibes coming straight from Mexico City that one day, hopefully soon, you will be persuaded to travel to Mexico.
